Here is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own this 1978 pontiac trans am. This is a one owner car and is highlydocumented from day one with 74,125 miles . Car comes with original window sticker ,build sheet, purchasecontract, and so much more i have a binder that is 3 inches thick with its history and service history. Its a truesmokey and the bandit car and carries the original paint which is amazing and looks awesome only the front and rearbumpers were painted because of the plastic faded they were done off the car and they look perfect.. Its very shinyand 100 % rust free. The tan interior is also exceptional and all original. The seats are soft and not damaged atall . The carpets are very clean. The headliner is perfect as is the dashboard with no cracks. This car was ownedby a true collector and it shows. The original 6. 6 liter engine starts up and runs very smooth. The car has neverbeen touched at all. Everything is original and still perfect. I picked up the car from atlanta georgia and droveher home. It was an amazing ride home and it took me back to the glory day's i had state troopers giving me athumbs up as well as every truck driver along i 75. The car handled amazing and has a ton of power . The suspensionis perfect and makes zero noises. The air condition is ice cold and it was up graded to 134 . The tires on the carare like new as are the brakes. The wheels are pristine and show no damage. The under carriage is a clean as thetop. There is no rust anywhere and it looks like it did back in 78. I am very excited to offer thisamazing trans am for sale. I have looked for a long time to own one and now i have the best one around. It has the original sticker showing options and also the original trunkmat and the floors are solid and look like new. Car has a posi rear end and cruises at 100 like nothing. Theoriginal bird on the hood is slightly faded but all there its the only one thing i would add as a new one and itwould make the car show ready . All the other decals are perfect and clear. The engine is a 389 ci, 360 hp with tri-power. The interiorconsists of bucket seats, console, rally pack gauges, am radio with speaker selector switch and has a teal steeringwheel. For sale: 1979 pontiac trans am 6. 6l t-topthis car is exceptionally nice! I purchased the car locally from an acquaintance who's father bought the car newoff the showroom! It's a one-family car. All history accounted for and no stories! The original build and salessheet is included with the car. This is an absolutely gorgeous car! All original drivetrain (403ci 6. 6l). Shows very well and getsa lot of attention on the road! The car was used as a daily driver during the beginning of it's life, hence thehigher mileage on the engine. The car was completelystripped to the metal and repainted in its original mayan red, and still looks absolutely amazing! Since that time,it has been a garage queen making appearances at local car shows and cruises only. This trans am is a perfectexample of a fantastic driver! Paint: completely disassembled and professionally repainted in original mayan red in 1993. Not a single issue withthe paint. Super straight lines and sides. But honestly, this car is damn near perfect! Drivetrain: all original 403 cubic inch v8. Completely unmolested. Idles nice and smooth at 700rpm. I don't ask much of it, because theres not a whole heck of alot of power to begin with, but i cruise 80mph effortlessly. No struggles, hesitation, or complaints. The transmission is also the original automatic. No complaints there either. No noises or vibrations from the rear-end either. Suspension: front suspension has been completely rebuild. The car drives very smooth. No pulls, shakes, shimmies,etc... No slop in the steering. Super smooth and controlled at highway speed. Interior: carmine red. The interior is in very nice condition. Gauges, lights, horn are working. The dash is invery good condition. The seats have recently been recovered with covers from classic industries. New headliner fromclassic industries. The only interior faults are the side panels in the rear are cracked andshowing brittleness from age. Happy to provide pictures. Also, the original radio is in place but not kicking on. Wheels: wheels are original and look great. One of them has a few scratches on an area of the beauty ring. Butotherwise, very very nice and with good bfg's. On top of that, it's a one-family car with original build sheet! Hagerty ratings would put this car probably between a number 2 and 3 car. Great documentation with originality. Hagerty pegs a number 3 car at $23,000 and a number 2 car at $42,000. I'm on the very low side of these numbers. Ithink my buy-it-now price is very reasonable. Message me with any questions!
