1970 olds 442running videos attached! This car was bought out of west virginia and it was transported to co in february2001. The restoration on this car is very nice! It includes the original broadcast sheet and a ton ofdocumentation that was provided me with the car. Everything from owners/shop manuals to pictures of the car fromwhen it was purchased by the original owner. The previous owner was a retired engineer and this car was his true love - and that shows! No expense was sparedin the building of this vehicle and i have 2 huge folders full of receipts from everything that he did to this car(that will be included). In doing a very rough count i would speculate that there is $30-40k in receipts in thesefiles. This is money outside the purchase of the car – just things he has done to it since getting it to co.

Original numbers matching 70 oldsmobile 442 convertible. This car is a survivorwith the exception of a few partial resprays over the years. The vin and data plate verify its authenticity. Itwas born 10/27/1969 in the lansing michigan plant. Body number 247446, interior trim 999, exterior paint #63 lowerand b upper. The paint on the car is in good condition for its age but could benefit from a nice paint job. This car drives like a new car. The odometer shows just over 24,000 miles and we believe it to be accurate, itdrives like a new car. We were told by the owner since 93 that he purchased the car with around 22,000 originalmiles on it and put around 1000 miles on it before parking it inside the car dealership that his family owned until2015. I could not find the build sheet anywhere but through research from several state dmv offices, i tracked the twoowners back to around the mid 70's. It spent the majority of its life in nebraska and prior to that, it was adealer owned car in pennsylvania. I do have the original trim tab paper but not the build sheet. This is a numbers matching car right down to the engine. I have attached a pic of the engine block casting idnumber but it is difficult to see, but the vin is stamped. It has the proper quadrajet carbuerator as well. There are a few minor rust spots along the frontdoors near the frame rails and the metal dash that intersects with the windshield is rusted out. We have lookedinto getting these fixed but i decided to sell it as is in it's survivor condition. The windshield also appears tobe the original glass!. This was a base 442 but the options it has are: a65 front bench seat w/arm rest power steering power disc front brakes 12 bolt main rear end rearview mirror map light.

This 1972 oldsmobile cutlass 442 w30 4-speed convertible is only one of 33 built out of a total of 113 produced in72. Sporting its original viking blue exterior (code 026), white bucket seat interior, a white a coded top withmatching original stripes, manual steering, tilt sport wheel, super stock iii wheels and the w30 package. This highly sought after model is a true rarity to be among only 33 1972 4-speeds, 32 1971 4-speeds and 96 19704-speed convertibles. 1972 is the only year that the x designates the w30 option within the vin. This car wasbuilt in lansing, mi, sold in lansing mi and 10 years ago moved to the chicagoland area. The l-77 coded engine with 300 hp 455 cu. V-8 balanced and blue printed from the factory. One of the last truemuscle cars offering in excess of 300 hp. This vehicle has its born with numbers matching engine, m21-4-speedtransmission, 3. 73 ratio rear end (gears replaced), carburetor, distributor, alternator and aluminum intake. The second owner purchased this 442 in 1973 and had it appraised in 1991 by excel appraisal service. The appraisalstates the actual mileage at that time was 43,814. The current odometer reading is 45,765, showing very littlemileage has been added to date. The pictures will show the condition of the paint work that has been done to this 442. The appraisal will confirmthat most of the paint work that was done below the stripes was completed prior to the date of the appraisal. Afterspeaking with the second owner, she had revealed that the 442 had been in an accident in 1974 and had been repairwith old lacquer paint. The repaired areas and the overall original paint is showing evidence of wear and tear, however it's too nice to repaint. There is some visible rust in the typical a body locations even though it wasundercoated in its early days. The trunk has its original factory splatter paint, not perfect, but too nice tomess with an original survivor. The tires are 20+ years-old and should not be driven too far at highway speeds! The convertible top and interior has a couple of small rips and tears due to age and dryness. The enginecompartment and the radiator support have been repainted, but require some detailing. The floor pans have held upwell for a midwest car due to early undercoating and plenty of oil leaks.
