This is my 1988 (4/87 production, car #344) m3. I've owned the car for about the last 17 years. I purchased thecar with ~112k miles. It is a tennessee car. I love this car but i really never drive the car and it’s beenspending most of it’s time in my garage. The car was originally sold by rick hill imports in kingsport, tn and has spent it’s life in east tennessee fromwhat i can tell. Please see below for some of the upgrades that i have done to the car and please don’t hesitate to ask anyquestions. I will answer the best that i can. This car is not a ‘bubble car’ but it is in very goodcondition. It does have all of the original body panels and the only “unfortunate incident” that the car has had while ihave owned it involved a raccoon on the interstate which required the replacement of the front bumper cover. The rear quarter panels were painted about 10-12 years ago as there was some wear at the bottom of the pop-outwindows that i had fixed before they became a rust issue. I do have some spare parts and brand new rear wheel bearings and associated parts. It does not need them rightnow, but i was going to do them as preventative maintenance. This particular car has over $450worth of new engine and suspension components recently installed and over $800 in brand new yokohama tires on it. This car is a fantastic driver! It accelerates, shifts, stops and handles just like an e30 m3 should, the ac blowsice cold and all the electronics work flawlessly! The interior is in great original condition with only minor,normal wear showing. The cowl has quite a bit of orange peel in the clear coat as well as having a small rustrepair on the drivers side, and there are some swirls in the paint on the rear spoiler. Air Conditioning

The quick version: 1990 bmw m3 (e30) original paint = brilliantrot; repainted hennarot 1-year ago 5000). I've owned the car for the last 12-years original 2. 3l s14 engine original transmission (all gears shift smoothly!) recently had $5000 worth of engine maintenance done by certified bmw mechanic setup with ground control coil-overs; racing dynamic sway bars and strut braces sparco race seats; momo race wheel; uuc short shifter 4. 10 rear diff lightened flywheel + bmw "hd clutch" resonator and stainless exhaust rebuilt dash cluster; all gauges work! Bolt-in roll bar / half-cage; rear seat delete all lights work; on-board computer works; power windows & sunroof work discontinued ssr wheels (17x7. 5) with toyo rubber setup and maintained by certified bmw/porsche mechanic for the last 10-years never driven hard or raced, only taken out for the occasional "track day" always stored in a heated garage, always babied, never smoked in never in an accident / no body or frame repairsthis is a very clean example of a bmw e30 m3 with very minimal modifications; all of which were designed to improvethe driving experience. (reliability was always the focus!)this car would be a great candidate for a total restoration, or as a dedicated track car. Currently it's setup to be the best of both worlds as she corners completely flat, yet is comfortable enough totake my 70-year old mother for a drive. The long version:ah- the e30 m3! This particular car was setup to be reliable and drive as tight as possible while still being comfortable ontypical city roads. Originally i had big plans to turn her into a replica, group a btcc track car, but had so many other projectsalways going on that i never wanted to rip apart my beloved m3. As mentioned on wikipedia & top gear (s03e02), thisis the most successful road-going race car ever! Personally, i think it's a bit sad the current trend of meticulously restoring these cars and turning them intomuseum pieces. The original s14 engine in this car needs to be heard at race tracks for generation after generationso car enthusiasts never forget the sound of what many consider the best car ever built! The handling differencesbetween a stock m3 and one with a stiffer coil-over suspension / proper setup & damper adjustments is absolutelynight and day! Suspension upgrades make this car handle completely flat through the turns while still being soft enough to take mymom for rides. Remember: this is the ultimate driving machine, not the ultimate original condition machine. Haha!;-)completely clean chassis / carfax / autocheck! No accidents or repairs! All maintenance was done with oem parts bythe best bmw mechanic in wi. That includes:- main seals, - main bearings,- rebalanced crankshaft- new rod bearings, cam bearings- new slave cylinder- new timing chain, timing rail, and all other important bits.
