This car was found lovingly stored away in a garageon an abandoned property in 2016. The new property owner was shocked to find this car hidden in the garage afterpurchasing the property. We pulled off the covers off this beauty and started going through it to see what we had. We had no idea how long it had been since this car saw the light of day. But some small trees had to be cut down toget it out of the garage. After a flushing all the fluids, tuning it up and a new battery she came to life and ranunbelievable smooth. We had the carburetor rebuilt, the transmission flushed and a new filter installed, and thebrakes redone. We then took the car to the body shop to have the new floor pans installed and touch up a spot ontop of cowl where the paint was pealing. Other than that it as we found it only much cleaner. The 289 pulls the cardown road well for a 200 hp engine. She is looking for a new home. Drive it as it is or spend some time making thiscar even better than it is now. Car is not all original and has some aftermarket parts. Engine build date shows itis the correct year engine and model for this car, but i do not know if it is original. Engine is a 2 barrel carbengine.
